Fireworks Malfunction Results In Spectacular 4th Of July Show

Residents of Kyle, Texas gathered on the Fourth of July to watch the biggest fireworks show in the town's history. The show got off to a great start, but about ten minutes in a malfunction caused all the remaining fireworks to go off at once. The show was supposed to last for 30 minutes.

"I'm just sad that the audio couldn't capture the bang as loud as it was in person," spectator Taryn Gilland told CNN. "Everyone all screamed when it happened."

The mishap caused a few small grass fires in the area, which were promptly extinguished by the fire department. City officials say that there were no injuries or reports of damage. They wrote on Facebook that they are looking into re-doing the show or adding extra fireworks to their Labor Day celebration.
