At least one dog is fighting for its life after dogs at an Arkansas animal shelter were forced to fight each other. The Humane Society of the Delta said on its Facebook page someone broke into the shelter is Helena-West Helena sometime late last Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. The Facebook post described the scene as a bloodbath straight out of a horror film. Shelter officials say they aren't sure if whoever broke in brought their own fighting dogs with them. Officials say a number of the shelter's homeless dogs had bite wounds. Helena-West Helena is about two hours east of Little Rock.
