One Martha's Vineyard resident is facing the harsh realities of leasing out her home after she discovered nearly every room in her house was used to make pornographic films. Leah Bassett rented out her home to Mile High Distribution Inc. and Joshua Spafford in 2014; he leased the property from October 2014 to May 2015 and made dozens of adult films while he was there. Bassett now claims that Spafford rented her house under false pretenses and she was never informed that the property would used for such purposes. She filed a federal lawsuit against the Canadian-based company stating that the "highly disturbing discovery" caused her emotional and psychological distress. Additionally, her artwork was featured in the films which she claims violates copyright laws. Guess you need to add a "no porn" clause to your lease agreements these days...
