 Madtree Brewing 2.0 + Catch a Fire Pizza (Oakley) –

Madtree 2.0 opened in February And the place to be if you are looking for a local brewery with a great atmosphere. The location has indoor and outdoor seating and the outdoor section is dog friendly. - Their beer is brewed at the location and they are constantly coming up with new flavors. - They also have Catch-a-Fire Pizza where you can order food. This place is a great place to meet friends, cool hangout or even a nice night out. Do yourself a favor and give it a try, you will return!

Taft’s Brewporium + New Haven Style Pizzeria (Spring Grove Ave, Winton Place) –

Expansion for Taft’s Ale House / Production facility. Braxton Labs (Bellevue) - Braxton Brewing Company’s second facility opened in May. Braxton Labs is located in Bellevue and is a place where they ignite innovation, spark conversation, celebrate community and champion creativity. - Braxton Labs is a brewery and taproom with 40 tap handles dedicated to Braxton Labs’ beers, Braxton’s core style beers and local, regional, and international guest taps. The brewery is used as a space for Braxton to experiment with styles, flavors and ingredients.

 Brown Bear Bakery (OTR) –

The newest bakery that just opened up their first storefront in OTR this July lives up to all the hype. - Must try: Cinnamon Roll - HUGE roll that Yelpers describe as soft and gooey with the most delectable glaze with an orange zest on top! A unique, delicious, warm and must have cinnamon roll. - Everything sells out QUICK so memorize their hours and get their EARLY to score your cinnamon roll and other sweet baked treats.

Quaintrelle Confections (OTR) –

Meggie’s shop, Quaintrelle Confections makes Artisan marshmallows made the old-fashioned way. They have no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors or colors, and no preservatives. Try them in a hot beverage, roasted over a fire, in a recipe, or right out of the bag! - Stop by her newly opened S’mores bar in OTR to pick up a bag of flavored mallows or get a fresh roasted s’mores or rice crispie treat! - Must try: the cheeto krispies (it’s just like a rice crispie but is made with cheetos instead of rice krispies)

Buzzed Bull Creamery (OTR) –

A completely new way to eat ice cream has been brought to Cincinnati in Buzzed Bull. They started with creating made-to-order alcoholic and non-alcoholic frozen desserts and have since added a full espresso coffee bar. - Their ice cream and coffee creations always include a buzz. Whether it’s from the buzz of excitement for something new, the quality of our product, or a buzz from your chosen liquor, we captivate all audiences in our one-of-a-kind-experience. - They invite adults to enjoy their favorite cocktail transformed (starting at ABV 5%) while kids are captivated by the mad scientist experiment to create their custom ice cream.

 Bar / Speakeasy in the back Court Street Lobster Bar (OTR) –

Lobster rolls are now available anytime of the year right in the Queen City since Court Street Lobster Bar opened up in April. - Spring for the Maine lobster roll, it has a balanced amount of mayo and seasoning, a generous portion of lobster, and the celery sprinkled on top added a good crunch. Not to mention the roll they serve it on, which was toasty and delicious.

Poke Hut (OTR) –

Inspired by an impromptu trip to Hawaii, Poke Hut is a healthy, fast-casual dining experience that serves fresh, real ingredients to help propel you forward like a perfect North Shore Swell. - Poke Hut opened in November on Race Street and specializes in Build-Your-Own Poke Bowls and Pokirittos that are Traditional style poke with a modern/midwest twist. They also make Customized Bubble Teas that are made with freshly brewed black or green tea with all the toppings.

The Hi-Mark (Columbia-Tusculum) –

Just a block from Eli’s on Riverside is set up for lots of people and fun, with board games available on the second floor, shuffleboard in the basement, giant connect four outside, and a huge projector on the main floor for showing sports games. - Hi-Mark is a bar first and a restaurant second, so the food menu is limited, but what they do have is DELICIOUS. The crinkle fries and with the house fry sauce are the BOMB dot com and definitely a must order when you're here.

The Pony (OTR) –

The Pony is brought to you by the same owners of Liberty's and The Royal in OTR has finally arrived and folks, it's coming in HOT! A dive and low-key local hangout (similar vibe to Liberty's) with surprisingly BANGIN food and you’ll be thrilled that you can FINALLY get a simple deli sammie that won't be fussy and cost a fortune. - Or Just opt for a simple wing order: 10 for $12 bucks - medium. Their claim is "Good bar food. No freezer to fryer junk!" and their mission of "no freezer to fryer junk" is 1,000% shining through and you can taste the difference. - Also opt for a side of fries for $5 and you’ll get twice fried basket of fresh cut fries, with sea salt flakes on top and ranch.

Moonrise Donuts (Covington) –

Moonrise Doughnuts opened in August and is located in the Latonia neighborhood of Covington, Kentucky, and comes in hot (pun intended) but offering fresh doughnuts during the evening hours. - Made fresh nightly from Tuesday - Saturday from 6pm - 11pm. Their nostalgic doughnuts take you back to the simple, familiar flavors of the local doughnut shop! - Must try their hot flavor of the night! A rotating specialty flavor that you must throw in your box of baked donut treats.

The Rhined (OTR) –

The Rhined is a cheese shop in Over-The-Rhine, focusing on the best domestic artisan cheese they can get our hands on. They want to get amazing cheeses being produced right here in the states and support the artisan cheesemakers and farmers who create their products in responsible and sustainable ways. - They offer retail cheese and all the accompaniments to create the perfect cheese board, plus regular and rotating selection of cheese flights, along with accompaniments, that you can enjoy in the shop. No cheese consumption would be complete without the perfect pairing of wine and beer, so they offer a small selection of both that you can enjoy in the shop or to take home with your delicious cheese.

Senate (Blue Ash) –

.Senate expanded outside of OTR opening a new space in May at Summit Park in Blue Ash. - They are still serving up their infamous gourmet hot dogs but are now serving brunch at this new HUGE location with a gorgeous outside patio. - The exclusive brunch menu includes birthday cake pancakes - buttermilk pancakes, warm funfetti glaze & crushed birthday cake oreos, sunday burger - two all beef patties, american cheese, thick cut bacon & fried egg served with breakfast potatoes and of course poutine - french fries, local cheese curds, braised short rib & gravy add a local free range

Bridges (Northside) –

 Northside’s first Nepalese restaurant opened up in February and Bridges has been serving Nepalese food for a while out of Findlay Market, and opened up their first brick and mortar in Northside! This place is amazing for a fast, unique, and DELICIOUS lunch. - Bridges is set up like Chipotle, where they make everything fresh and have it ready, and then you can pick and choose what you want to make your own bowl combo. - Step on the Bridge they offer to explore the world of curry and cilantro.

Sartre OTR (OTR) –

Yelpers are calling this the “best new restaurant” and are definitely finding a few items on the menu that even I had never heard of. So if you are an adventurous eater that wants to try new things, you will love it here! - The menu is French and new American, that is split up into appetizers, shareable plates and entrees. - Yelpers recommend starting with the brussel sprouts - roasted until brown and crispy and served with a truly incredible house smoked brisket. It just melts in your mouth!
