Scotty Bear is the gentlest old soul you’ll ever meet. He is 11 years old and blind as can be! But he loves other dogs, is good with kids, and doesn’t mind cats. He’s housebroken and not destructive. All he asks for is treats, head scratches, and a comfy bed to lay.
Animal Friends has a 5K and Dog Jog that is coming up on June 1st at Waterworks Park in Fairfield! This is our second time doing this event and it was very successful last year in raising money for the pups at the shelter!
The day begins with a chip-timed 5K run/walk (3.1-mile) for people only, followed by our leisurely 1.5 mile Dog Jog. Don’t want to run/walk? Then come and cheer on the participants. We will have snacks, including FLUBS ICE CREAM cones and pup cups! The Petmobile will be attending if you are looking to bring home a new family member.
