Katie came to us emaciated and really in rough shape- weighing only 20 pounds at the time. A wonderful foster family took her into their home and has done a wonderful job of letting her heal! She is now much happier and healthier at 44# and now has the energy to show off her funny and sweet personality! Katie is estimated to be around 6 years old. She's done really well with the older dog in the home, but she really wants to play. She's gotten along great with the cat in the home as well. Katie has a chance to meet some kids at our recent event and also did great with them! Despite her rough past, Katie seems to just want to be everyone's friend and live her best life!
Your favorite 2nd Saturday fun is back! The PetMobile will be in attendance at Marcum Park (Dayton & 2nd Street, Hamilton) for the Hamilton Flea, the 2nd Saturday of May, June, and August from 10:00am to 4:00pm! We hope you’ll join us in downtown Hamilton to see what all of the incredible vendors have to offer and come out and visit with our adoptable dogs and cats!

You can stop by our event at PetPeople West Chester (7996 Princeton Glendale Rd, West Chester Township, OH 45069) from 1:00pm – 4:00pm or Animal Friend’s facility during our open hours of 12:00pm – 4:30pm to see if we have the perfect match for your family! For either of these events, or when adopting a cat or kitten onsite at the shelter, don't forget that the cat/kitten adoption fee is only $5 until Thursday, June 15th to help us make room for the many more kittens entering into our care this kitten season!
