Bullet is a happy boy, especially if you have a ball or squeaky toy! He recently spent some time in my office and his favorite thing was playing with his ball (and getting back scratches!) He's quite the shelter greeter and, as you can see in the attached photo, recently spent time with some firemen who were making a donation. Though people are his favorite, he has done fairly well with other dogs at our facility. This senior fellow is around nine years old and thanks to a generous donor, his adoption fee is fully sponsored.
This one is for our feline friends. Kittens tend to do better in pairs and we love it when they leave the shelter with a friend! As such, from June 1st-June 15th all kittens are BOGO. That means for $40 you can take home two kittens!
Additionally, during this time, our adult cats have an adoption fee of only $10.
The day begins with a chip-timed 5K (3.1-mile) for people only, followed by our leisurely 1.5 mile Dog Jog. Don’t want to run/walk? Then come and cheer on participants and enjoy our race party. We will have snacks for human and dog participants. The Petmobile will be attending if you are looking to bring home a new family member. And we will be hosting many exciting vendors.

5K Registration is $40. Race Day registration is $45. Dog Jog Registration is $20. Race day registration is $25. Participants can jog or walk our 1.5 mile route with your dog by your side or consider “renting” one of our shelter dogs to be your walking buddy! The Dog Jog will not be a timed event.
