Elvis is a German Shorthair Pointer Mix estimated to be around 8 years old! Elvis came in as a stray, but we think someone must have loved and raised him well because he is very well mannered and a total sweetheart. Elvis walks well on a leash and is looking forward to going on many walks with his new family! Elvis has done well with the other dogs he’s met at the shelter, but seems to prefer dogs who are lower energy and not too invasive
Saturday event: Looking for some bunny to love? The Easter Bunny may be cute, but we have some adorable, adoptable dogs and cats who are hoping you’ll take them home instead! Animal Friends will be attending the East Butler County Family Y’s Annual Floating Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 1st, from 1pm - 3pm! Families are able to register for one of the 30 minute time slots to swim and hunt for eggs! Before or after the egg hunt your family can hop on into the gym for pictures with the Easter Bunny, Crafts, Face Painting and maybe even falling in love with a new furever family member over at Animal Friend’s table! Every child leaves with a goody bag!! The cost is $10 for Members and $20 for non members (price is per child; no cost for adult swimmers).
Friday and Sunday event: Thanks to our incredible partnership with Subaru Loves Pets and their dedication to creating opportunities for shelter animals to find homes, Animal Friends Humane Society is excited to announce that we will be attending the 2023 Cincinnati Auto Expo and the Duke Energy Convention Center! Check out some of the coolest vehicles around and then take a break and come visit some of our adoptable dogs in the Subaru pet park! Animal Friends Humane Society will at the Subaru Pet Park on: Friday, March 31st, from 4:00pm – 8:00pm & Sunday, April 2nd, from 3:00pm – 6:00pm.
