Occupy Democrats on Twitter was called out for tweeting false information about an incident between protesters of the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict blocking traffic, and a driver trying to get by.
The left leaning twitter account claimed that protesters had been plowed into by a "Trumper emboldened by the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict", and had left one woman fighting for her life. CNN reporter Daniel Dale stepped in to dispute the account stating that no one had been hurt, and the political motivations of the driver were unknown. Furthermore, a video of the incident surfaced, completely debunking the claims. Occupy Democrats would later tweet a retraction of their prior tweet.
