Buttercup is an 8 pound, all white female chihuahua mix. Found running as a stray and has only been with us about a week and a half. She loves when she gets to spend time outside in the fresh air, and likes to be held or to sit in your lap. She doesn't mind other dogs, but seems to prefer other female dogs over male dogs. We're going to have great weather this weekend, so anyone in the Hamilton area should stop by Marcum Park to check out the Hamilton Flea on Saturday from 10-4. This outdoor event has plenty for the whole family to enjoy. Adoptable kittens (only $5!) and dogs will be attending with our petmobile, and you can also check out the local vendors and enjoy some craft beer while there. Our shelter is also open all weekend from 11-4:30 with several other animals looking for forever homes.
