Bullit is a 1.5 year old Chihuahua / Rat Terrier mix that weighs around 11 pounds. This little guy came to our shelter via our Rescue Transport Program from Indiana. He and is brother (Spirit was already adopted) were surrendered to a shelter down there because their owner had terminal lung cancer. Bullit is a fast, energetic little guy and needs a family that can keep up with him! He's not suited for really young kids, but would be a fantastic match with a family that has older kids who can keep him exercised and entertained. Bullit has already been neutered and has received all of his vetting and is ready to be adopted anytime! His adoption fee is $125.
June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month, so for the entire month we have cat and kitten adoptions for only $5! The adoption fee does include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate vaccines, flea prevention, feline leukemia testing, trial sized bag of food, and 30 days of pet insurance. All adoption policies and thorough match-making procedure will remain in effect. AFHS is open 7 days a week, and visitors can stop by anytime during our operating hours without an appointment.
