Axl is a 6 year old German Shepherd that was surrendered because his parents were going through a divorce and neither could keep him. He is housebroken. He's a super active dog with a lot of energy, so anyone considering him would need an appropriate yard and lifestyle to accommodate his needs. He did live with another dog in his previous home, but at the shelter he seems to be picky about his dog friends, so a home with no other pets may be best for him.
With kitten season coming up very quickly, we are in need of families to sign up to become foster families. AFHS covers all costs involved and will provide all needed supplies. Fostering can range from as short as one week up to a few months, depending on the age and size of the kittens. We take in thousands of kittens each year, and are already seeing many pregnant cats entering our shelter..
