He's a fun, energetic dog, but would do best in a home with older children. In the shelter they have seen him become possessive over his food when other dogs are around, or when people are trying to remove his food bowl. This is why having older kids only in the home is the better option for him. Small kids wanting to take his food or toys could pose an issue.
