A seven-year-old in New York will need a permit if he's going to reopen his lemonade stand. The stand was operating outside of the county fair in Ballston Spa late last week but was closed down after complaints were filed by several vendors. The boy was selling the drinks from his family's property, which just happens to be across the street from the Fairgrounds in Saratoga County. The State Health Department says the stand was not an average one and was similar to what vendors were doing so a $30 permit is being required.
