Officers pulled over 46-year-old Barry Ridge after receiving a complaint from a Franklin, South Carolina resident that Ridge had driven on to their lawn and started mowing it. The officers quickly realized the man was under the influence. Ridge failed a breathalyzer test, which found his blood-alcohol level of 0.189. It's also worth noting that Ridge happens to be the mayor.
This was the second time in the last month that Ridge has driven his lawnmower under the influence. He was arrested in a Kroger parking lot in Marion County for operating the mower while intoxicated and "causing a disturbance" on April 8. His Huskee lawn tractor was impounded.
