What a week it's been forJon Pardi! The country music singer dropped his new album, Heartache Medication last Friday (September 27). The new record has received incredible feedback from country music fans, some suggesting it might even be one of the best albums of the year.
Additionally this week Pardi kicked off his "Heartache Medication Tour" with two back-to-back, sold out shows at Nashville's legendary Ryman Auditorium. Turns out Pardi had a little something special in mind for night two of the Nashville stop.
Toward the end of his set, Pardi brought his longtime girlfriend, Summer Duncan, out on stage where he then popped the big question. Summer of course said yes! A video of the moment, shared by a fan in the crowd, was shared to social media and can be seen below.
Duncan, like Pardi, is also a California native. The two met a while back when Pardi's mom encouraged Duncan to fly out to her son's show at the Grizzly Rose in Denver, CO to meet him. Duncan decided to go for it and brought a girlfriend along just to be safe. The first meeting clearly went well as the two attended the 2017Country Music Awards together a short while later.
More recently, Duncan joined Pardi in his music video for his new album's title track, "Heartache Medication." The video features the two dancing around a smokey old country bar together. "We ended up doing practices in my barn at home and Summer and I had such a great time," Pardi shared, adding, "I loved being able to dance together."
Most men wouldn't mind dancing with Summer, that's for sure.
