A Texas grandmother is looking forward to a new pair of boots. Judy Cochran, who is the mayor of Livingston, Texas, shot and killed a 12-foot, 580-pound alligator. She says, "One shot in the head and he just went under." Cochran's catch is now at the local taxidermist. She says she's going to have a beautiful new pair of boots made out of the skin. Coincidentally, Cochran took down the gator in the same pond where her then five year old grandson took one down in 2009. Cochran offers a word to the wise. She says, "don't mess with Nana."
