Recent Kent State grad Kaitlin Bennett, 22, caused a firestorm on the internet when she posted pictures of herself strolling through campus with an AR-10 strapped to her back. Her cap was decorated with the phrase "come and take it" with a gun. Bennett, founder of the Kent State chapter of the libertarian group "Liberty Hangout", is a vocal gun activist. She has long argued for concealed-carry for students on campus but the University prohibits firearms for students and staff, even though visitors to Kent State are permitted to carry firearms. Once she became a "visitor" after graduation Bennett mocked the University's policy, drawing the ire of the internet.
