A topless woman was taken into custody after she stormed toward Bill Cosby as he arrived in court for his sexual assault retrial on Monday morning. The woman had the words "Cosby" and "Rapist" painted on her back and "Women's Lives Matter" written on her chest. She also had the names of women written across her body and appeared to be from the feminist group FEMEN, which was written on her arm.
As Cosby exited his car and made his way to the courthouse she jumped over a barricade and charged toward the disgraced comedian. Police quickly tackled her and took her into custody. Cosby was escorted back to his car while she was taken away by police. Once the disturbance ended Cosby started making his way into the courthouse, where dozens of protesters screamed and chanted at him as he walked past.
Cosby is back in court after his rape trial ended in a mistrial last spring. After spending five days deliberating, the jurors were unable to come to a unanimous decision. Cosby is facing three counts of aggravated indecent assault.
