The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup semifinals are headed to Cincinnati. FC Cincinnati's extended its run through the tournament with a 1-0 win over the NASL spring champion Miami FC in the quaterfinals Wednesday at Florida Internaitonal University.
Djiby Fall scored the game winner for FCC in the 68th minute. Mitch Hildebrant with another shutout.
FC Cincinnati becomes the first non Major League Soccer club to advance to the final four since 2011 and will host the New york Red Bulls in the semifinals Tuesday August 15th at Nippert Stadium.
