The most often asked question in our house: "Where's the remote?"

I grew up in an 'open-one-present' the night before Christmas family.

I tried a steak in the air-fryer for the first time. Pretty dang good. Seriously. Pre-heated at 400-degrees for 10-minutes. Cooked at 400 for about 14 minutes, flipping halfway through.

We are currently watching three shows by Tyler Sheridan: Tulsa King (Sylvester Stallone), Landman (Billy Bob Thornton, John Hahn) and Special Ops: Lioness (Zoe Saldana, Michael Kelly).

Streaming services are not going away, no matter how much you complain about them. According to Nielsen, 42% of all TV viewing in November was streaming. That number will only grow.

Underrated: Grilled cheese, Christmas stockings and BJ Hill.

Zac Taylor's offense is No. 5 in the NFL in points per game (28.5). No. 5. Grab some popcorn and prepare to read all the ways his critics deflect any credit for that.

You know what I miss? CBB teams with identities and nicknames like The Fab Five, Phi Slamma Jamma, Tark The Shark and his Runnin' Rebels, Arkansas and 40 Minutes of Hell, Georgetown and Hoya Paranoia, Georgia Tech's Lethal Weapon.

Some of my favorite Christmas presents growing up: Nerf Football, Super Toe, Reds starter jacket, Mizuno baseball glove.

We finally watched the movie Twisters, the sequel to Twister. Excellent special effects. Enjoyed Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell and Anthony Ramos.

I will always miss the pitter-patter of Casey and Peyton running down the hall to wake us up Christmas morning.

It's a long way to Opening Day....but right now....the Reds have uncertainty/will have to hope at 1B, 2B, 3B and RF.

Lance vs Kelly disagreement: I think Steven Seagal movies are awesome.

I had a pair of cowboy boots in middle school. And bought a hat. Still not really sure why.

'You Know What I Miss?' might have to become a weekly segment on the show.

Boise State's Ashton Jeanty probably wins the Heisman most seasons. But Travis Hunter had a uniquely special and productive season. He was the ONLY player in FBS to play over 150 snaps on each side of the ball. He had 670 on offense, 686 on defense, 24 on special teams. Plus 92 catches for over 1,000 yards AND a first-team cornerback. He was a unicorn. My Heisman ballot: 1. Hunter, 2. Jeanty, 3. Gabriel. I debated Cam Skattebo for my 3rd selection.

Don't worry about things you don't care about
