Reds beat Pirates behind Elly and Rhett

Rookie Rhett Lowder continued to impress with five scoreless innings.

Elly collected three hits, doubled, homered and drove in four runs. 

The Reds stand 76-80 with six games remaining. 

Reds take the series, having outscored Pirates 15-4 in the series. A Billy Cook 9th inning homer broke up the shutout bid. They stopped a streak of four consecutive series lost to the Pirates.
