A’s 9 Reds 6
The Reds trailed 5-0 into the 7th, when they busted out with four straight two out hits and six runs, including a three run shot by Will Benson that gave them a 6-5 lead.

But Emilio Pagan promptly surrendered an 8th inning three-run homer to Seth Brown, his second jack of the night, that put the A's ahead for good.

Reds have lost 9 of 12 to fall to 63-70. They are seven games below .500 for the first time since May 31 (25-32). Are we sure they can win 10 of the final 29 to avoid 90 losses?

They did bring the tying run to the plate with one out in the 9th off All-Star closer Mason Miller. But Amed Rosario struck out and Benson struck out.

One night after clubbing three HR, the A’s added four more, off four different Reds pitchers. They have scored 11 of their 14 runs in the series on seven HR.
