Reds arms dominate Cardinals in 3-1 win

Nick Lodolo returned from the IL to pitch into the 6th inning, allowing one run. The bullpen fired 3.2 shutout innings, retiring all 11 batters with 9 strikeouts. 
The Cardinals were on a five game win streak, having won 10 of 12. The Reds offense produced three runs in the first two innings, and that was enough.

That’s a season high four game win streak. The Reds were facing a division opponent for the first time in 42 games.

Jeimer Candelario: HR in his return from missing two games w/ a stiff neck.

Goldschmidt, who homered twice Sunday night, blasted one off Lodolo in the 1st inning. His 20th career HR at GABP.
