Camping with the Bearcats
I was able to get over to Camp Higher Ground this morning and checkout the Bearcats.
The QB competition between Ben Bryant and Evan Prater continues to be in the spotlight. The dynamic is pretty fascinating to me. They are roommates and get along great. Ben said when it's lights out at night they watch TikTok videos and Evan said they are just 'bros being bros'. Ben joked he might get the clippers and shave Evan's head when he falls asleep.
Based on the very small sample size of a two hour practice....Bryant seemed to have a better overall day than Prater who missed a couple of throws.
Josh Whyle is such a beast at TE....6'6 250 pounds.
Freshman DB JD Hardaway is an impressive talent....wow.....6'23 200.
Freshman WR Quincy Burroughs in something else.....6'2 202.
There were several NFL people on hand. I'm told 11 scouts were in attendance Sunday.
It's always entertaining to see and feel the energy of cornerbacks coach and special teams coach Kerry Coombs.
