Legendary voice of the Reds and Hall of Fame pitcher Waite Hoyt joined Bob Trumpy in-studio on Sports Talk on June 2, 1981.
Hoyt spent 24 years as voice of the Reds, starting in 1942.
He won 237 games as a pitcher and three World Series rings with the Yankees and was a roommate of Babe Ruth.
