It's one of my all-time favorites!
High school wrestler Louden Swain (Matthew Modine) wants to do something significant in his life after turning 18. Despite advice against it from his father and coach, Swain decides to try to lose over 20 pounds in an attemptto take on 'Shute', the defending state champion of a lower weight class. Meanwhile, Swain falls Carla (Linda Fiorentino), who has moved in to his home and provides further distraction for him. A classic coming-of-age movie, cult classic....and wrestling classic.
