FORWARD THINKING: Southwest Airlines Testing Major Boarding Process Changes

If you have flown Southwest Airlines recently, you may have noticed that the airline does not offer assigned seats. Instead, it assigns passengers a boarding group (A, B, or C) and a number. (1-60) Passengers then board the plane by group, with A going first in numerical order. Once passengers are on board, then they can select any available seat.
