( Butler County, OH ) - A 15-year-old girl is dead after a two-car collision Tuesday afternoon on State Route 73 in Butler County. The Montgomery County Coroner has identified the victim as 15-year-old Hallie Deaton.
Deaton was flown to Miami Valley Hospital after the crash, where she later died. Police say she was a passenger in one of the cars along with three friends, all of whom are either 15 and 16-years-old. The other three teens in the car were injured in the accident, but there's been no update on their conditions.
The police report says that the teens vehicle went left of center was traveling on Wehr Road in Wayne Township and struck another car. That vehicle had an adult and four children inside, but they were all ok afterwards.
There's no word on what led up to the crash, and the incident remains under investigation.
Hallie was a student at Edgewood High School, which is currently on Spring Break.
