( Cincinnati ) - Police have released more information on Monday's officer-involved shooting in northern Kentucky.
Cincinnati Police fatally shot 20-year-old Ali Coulter (pictured) in Covington during an investigation into a homicide in Price Hill on April 6. They were working with Covington police in going to Coulter's mother's house to ask about his whereabouts. Investigators say they did not know Coulter would be at the home.
Police say Coulter refused to follow commands, and ran at officers with a loaded weapon before they shot him.
It's believed that no Kentucky officers fired any shots. Cincinnati Police Fugitive Apprehension Squad Officers Charles Knapp and Mark Longworth are currently on administrative leave. Kentucky State Police is investigating the shooting, but the City of Cincinnati is conducting its own investigation as well.
