Reds Hiring for Game Day Operations Amid MLB Work Stoppage

( Cincinnati, OH ) The Major League Baseball work stoppage does not appear to be any closer to coming to an end, but that is not stopping the Reds from getting ready for a 2022 season.

The club will be holding a job fair this coming Wednesday Feb. 23rd, looking to hire a number of game day employees.

Available positions in Seasonal Public Safety Security and Seasonal Guest Services include:

• Ushers

• Ticket Takers

• Suite Ambassadors

• Fan Accommodations

• Access Coordinators

• Elevator Operators

• Runners

• Public Safety Security

The job fair will run from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Bally Sports Club at Great American Ball Park. Applicants can enter the ballpark near the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum. You must be at least 18 years-old to apply. Walk-ins are welcome and applications can be submitted in advance by going to reds.com/Jobs.

Major League Baseball and the Players Association met again today to try and work out a new collective bargaining agreement. The meeting only lasted 15 minutes.

Reds Opening Day is scheduled for March 31st. Players were supposed to report to Spring Training the week.
