NFL Rules Prevent Super Bowl Watch Party at Paul Brown Stadium

The Super Bowl watch party proposed by Hamilton County commissioner Alicia Reece is a no-go, as National Football rules are preventing it.

In a letter from Eric Brown, the Managing Director of Paul Brown Stadium, LTD to Hamilton County Administrator Jeffrey Aluotto, he says at the request of the county, they contacted the NFL regarding the proposed watch party on Super Bowl Sunday to watch the Bengals take on the Los Angeles Rams.

The NFL would declined the request to broadcast the big game at Paul Brown Stadium, which they said was consistent with the league's Rules and Policies applicable to similar events.
