The Tristate Area Among the Most Dangerous Spots for COVID.

A new report shows that Kentucky is one of the most dangerous states to be in for COVID right now.

Wallethub ranked the safest states based on transmission rates, the number of positive tests, hospitalizations, deaths and the vaccination rate.

Kentucky came in 48th overall and one of the reasons is that the death rate from the virus in Kentucky is worse than any other state in the nation except for Wyoming.

Ohio didn't fair much better ranking 45th overall. Indiana has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the country and was ranked 38th.

The safest states----Connecticut, Rhode Island and Florida.

The survey also compared blue states Versus red ones depending on how they voted in the 2020 election. Blue states were judged more safe by nearly a two to one margin.
