CDC Says Masks Should be Worn in Cincinnati and Hamilton County

The CDC now says masks should be worn indoors by everyone in Cincinnati and Hamilton County whether you have been vaccinated or not. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website shows that Hamilton County is now in the orange with a substantial transmission of Covid Cases. In Hamilton County, the 7 day average for new cases has jumped 90% in the past week while new hospital admissions are up 121%.

Yesterday, Hamilton County reported 106 new Covid cases which is three times the daily number recorded at the start of this month.

No new mandates have come from the local health departments but they could be on the way.
