(Cincinnati, OH) - Chris Ford with St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church speaks for many as Riverside Drive in the East End was reopened Tuesday.
It was January 2, 2021 when a water main break flooded the area, followed by another break nearby in late February.
Ever since it's been a nightmare getting to St. Rose and to the businesses and homes in the area.
"We are glad it's open," according to Ford who says the closing of Riverside Drive and the pandemic drove down church attendance and donations.
"It's been a big inconvenience from just having parishioners being able to get here," Ford tells Newsradio 700 WLW.
Greater Cincinnati Water Works says all repairs have been made on Riverside Drive in the area near the water main break.
