Hamilton County testing walk-up clinic on Thursday

(Cincinnati, OH) - Hamilton County Health Commissioner Greg Kesterman is hoping for a great turnout Thursday at the county's first walk-up vaccination clinic, which is being conducted on a test-basis.

It is scheduled at the Hamilton County Board of Elections Thursday, April 15 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Kesterman says the walk-up clinic comes at a time when appointments at other vaccination clinics have slowed this week. He calls the walk-up clinic "another tool in the tool box to get folks vaccinated".

Hamilton County Public Health plans to make approximately 400 vaccinations available on a first-come, first-served basis. The shots will be offered while supplies last.

No appointment is necessary.

Hamilton County Commissioner Alicia Reece said during Wednesday's COVID-19 update that she plans to receive her vaccine at the walk-up clinic on Thursday.
