( Columbus, Ohio ) - Gov Mike DeWine on Monday announced even broader eligibility for Ohioans to get a COVID vaccine.
In addition to all Ohioans age 50 and over, those with Type 2 Diabetes and end-stage renal disease will also be able to get a coronavirus vaccination.
DeWine says all told, that represents about 1.5 million more people who will be allowed to get a shot protecting them from COVID19.
Also on Monday, the governor announced that the long-await centralized Ohio website for people to find available vaccine appointments is now live:
Anyone in the eligible category can find links to websites with appointments within a radius of where they live. Those who are not yet eligible can also sign up for an alert.
