After seeing significant snowfall earlier this week, Cincinnati and the tri-state are again expecting winter weather Wednesday into Thursday night, with snow, a wintry mix and freezing rain all possible.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for most of the tri-state until 7 p.m. Thursday.
Meanwhile, counties further south in Northern Kentucky: Mason, Bracken, Owen, Pendelton and Bracken Counties, under a Winter Storm Warning until 7 p.m. Thursday.
Those under the Winter Weather Advisory can expect up to an inch of snow and a glaze of ice.
Those under the Winter Storm Warning could see up to two inches of snow and up to two-tenths of an inch of ice accumulation.
Conditions could lead to slippery road conditions during commutes this evening and also Thursday morning and evening.
South of the tri-state into central and southern Kentucky, an Ice Storm Warning is in effect until 7 p.m. Thursday.
Those areas could see up to a half inch of ice accumulation, with some areas possibly seeing three-quarters of an inch, which will make travel hazardous, and lead to possible power outages and falling tree limbs.
