First Shipment of Vaccine Arrives in Ohio

The first shots are being given today to doctors and nurses at the Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University. The COVID vaccine has arrived in Ohio and medical workers who are treating Coronavirus patients will be the first to get it. Ohio's initial shipment is about 10,000 doses delivered to 10 locations around the state including UC Health in Cincinnati. Katie Walz a critical care cardiac nurse at the UC medical center was the first to receive the vaccine locally.
