Biden Wins

COMBO-US-VOTE-BIDEN-TRUMP

(Washington, DC) -- Joe Biden is projected as the winner of the 2020 presidential election. The key battleground state of Pennsylvania put Biden over the 270 electoral votes needed to make him the President-elect. Biden's running mate Kamala Harris will be the first woman and the first person of color to be Vice President. Harris is the junior senator from California. The 77-year old Biden was vice president during the Obama administration. He spent decades in the Senate and chaired the powerful Judiciary and Foreign Relations Committees. Biden will be 78 on inauguration day in January, the oldest person to ever enter the presidency.

Biden calls himself "honored and humbled" by his victory in the hotly-contested presidential election. Biden said -- "In the face of unprecedented obstacles, a record number of Americans voted; proving once again that democracy beats deep in the heart of America." Biden stressed that it is time to "put the anger and the harsh rhetoric behind us and come together as a nation." The former VP said it is time for the nation to unite and heal.
