(Georgetown, OH) - The Brown County Drug and Major Crimes Task Force says it has busted a marijuana growing operation at 9876 West Fork Road in Georgetown.
Police say the residents of the home are brothers, Jacob and Elliot Smith, along with multiple juveniles. After a search of the property police say they removed approximately $6,500 worth of marijuana and three firearms.
Police say the Smith brothers have a criminal history of violent felony offenses preventing them from legally possessing firearms. All three firearms were allegedly void of any commercial markings or serial numbers. These types of firearms are often privately built.
Both brothers are charged and have been taken to the Brown County Adult Detention Center.
