Reds Testing Aerosol Virucide at Great American Ball Park

( Cincinnati, OH ) - It could be the key to resuming large events.

An aerosol virucide will be tested out at Great American Ballpark. Grignard Pure can be dispensed thru a building's HVAC system or thru a fog machine, and it will supposedly kill airborne coronavirus particles.

Reds COO Phill Castellini said in a statement,“We believe the novel aerosol antiviral capabilities of Grignard Pure may enable us to achieve (our) goals. For this reason, the Cincinnati Reds organization has agreed to serve as a ‘beta’ site for Grignard Pure."

The Reds say their plan is to use it in elevators, restrooms, luxury boxes and clubhouses.

Grignard Pure is used in conjunction with surface sanitizing and distributors say it will governors more confidence in opening up more parts of the economy---knowing that the virus is being attacked both on surfaces and in the air.

At this time, Major League Baseball and the Players Union have not agreed to terms on getting the 2020 baseball season underway.
