(Highland County, OH) -- Federal authorities are joining the search for missing Highland County teenager Maddie Bell.
Bell hasn't been seen since Sunday morning, when she left home to go to a tanning salon in Greenfield.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are now on the case, after the Highland County Sheriff's Office said they couldn't find her during extensive searching.
Her mother Melissa Bell says she told her she'd be right back Sunday, but never returned. Maddie's car was found at the Good Shepherd Church across from the tanning salon. It was unlocked, the keys were in the ignition and her money was still in there.
Police say a white car with California plates was seen in the area Sunday morning.
Anyone with information should call police.
