Two of the Hottest Spots in the Country for COVID-19 are in Ohio

Ohio now has the top two hottest spots in the nation for COVID-19.

Marion County and Pickaway County are first and second, for having the most confirmed cases per capita. Each are home to state prisons where there have been massive outbreaks. Overall, the number of confirmed cases in the buckeye state is trending down and Ohio Department of Health Director Dr Amy Acton believes that cases have plateaued.

Ohio is confident enough that the number of new cases has stabilized enough to allow for hospitals to resume performing medical procedures that were initially deemed non-essential. Governor Mike DeWine says there is sufficient hospital capacity and PPE to ease up on the prohibition of elective surgeries.
