A 150 Year West Side Tradition Cancelled by Coronavirus Pandemic.

The Harvest Home Fair has been a West side tradition that dates back over 150 years but it will not be happening this September in Cheviot. The fair and parade are the latest casualty of the coronavirus pandemic.

Organizers say the restrictions imposed to fight COVID 19 have made it difficult to plan for the event and line up sponsors plus the chairperson says there are the obvious safety issues. Pete Rebold asks Local 12, "how do you drink beer thru a mask----or practice social distancing at an event where everyone is coming to spend time together".

Organizers say their focus now will turn to planning to bring the Harvest Home Fair back in 2021 and they vow that what they call the biggest little fair in Ohio will be better than ever.

There won't be any need for reserving spots for the Harvest Home Parade this year.
