Is he a political prisoner? That is how the First Amendment Lawyers Association describes Rashaan Davis. Davis is the man behind bars for violating the Stay Home order in Ohio and partying in the streets of Over the Rhine. Davis posted a you-tube video that led to his arrest and the lawyers association claims he is being singled out because he is black.
Their motion calling for the charges to be dismissed says whites have violated the order by going to church, attending protests, exercising and shopping for crafts but have not been locked up. A hearing on Davis's case is set for 9 o clock this morning before Hamilton County Judge Allan Triggs.
