Hamilton County's Prosecutor tells police put their rear ends in jail

Hamilton County's Prosecutor has a message for people looking to defy the Governor's stay home order, "stick their rear ends in jail and we will deal with them in July." Joe Deters says he made it clear to Cincinnati's Police Chief and the Hamilton County Sheriff that they need to arrest people deliberating violating the order. On Newsradio 700WLW Deters said "I cannot tell you how pissed off I got" after learning about what happened early Saturday morning in Over the Rhine.

A man seen on a Youtube Video encouraging people to come out and join the coronavirus street party is now behind bars. Rashaan Davis is being held without bond on charges that now include a felony of inciting to riot. The prosecutor says he has told police to come down hard on those defying the order. Deters says to have the attitude of "F the virus" is putting everyone at risk and in his mind the equivalent of attempting to commit serious harm to someone.
