(Clermont County) -- Clermont County's first COVID-19 death has been recorded.
Officials with Clermont County Public Health say the patient was a male in his 70's. He had underlying health conditions.
Health Commissioner Juilanne Nesbit says the county is saddened by the news and sends their sympathies to the friends and families of the person who died. She says they will not be providing any additional information about the death out of privacy for the family.
Residents are being reminded to stay at home aside from essential trips to avoid getting sick. People are also being reminded to wash their hands and practice social distancing.
