This was supposed to be Opening Day in Cincinnati before the Coronavirus outbreak put the baseball season on indefinite hold. Reds COO Phil Castellini is asking people today to find some way to honor the more than 100 year tradition that had to be scrubbed because of the ban on large gatherings. In a video message posted to Reds.com, Castellini said
"Please put on your Reds gear, send us your videos and memories from previous opening days, make a parade float, practice in the backyard, play ball with the kids."
For those missing baseball, last years opening day game --- the last for Marty Brennaman in the broadcast booth --- will be replayed this afternoon on FOX SPORTS 1360
