Beshear: Kentucky's First Coronavirus Case Reported

(Frankfort, KY) - Kentucky's first coronavirus death has been recorded.

Governor Andy Beshear says the victim is a 66-year-old man who was from Bourbon County. He says there were "numerous" factors in the man's death and the illness wasa factor.

There are currently 21 confirmed cases of the illness in the state.

Beshear will be closing all bars and restaurants at 5 p.m. today.
